Victoria Griffin was born in March of 1972 and raised in Oconee
County,
among the beautiful forests, mountains and foothills of the "Golden
Corner" of South Carolina. A self-taught artist, Victoria began
drawing
at an early age. The fantasy and fairytale stories she read as a
child
have fueled her life-long interest in the paranormal and
metaphysical realm.
The creatures of folklore and mythology are her Muses and her desire
has
been to open a window into their world thru her art. She uses
watercolor,
ink, graphite pencil, and PrismaColor markers and colored pencils to
create
her pieces. Aside from her art, Victoria is also a published poet,
amateur
photographer and a moderator for the
Elfwood project.
Her artwork
has recently been featured on the covers of Aquarius: A Sign of
The Times and the Circle of Stones Journal.
